So I am doing a project on Harley Davidson and I need to know what kind of sales promotions they have going. At special events, and or dealerships?

I am not a biker so I am unfarmiliar with this brand, can anyone provide helpful insight?

Depending on the type of event most MC companies have promotional activities. These activities include product displays, test rides and hospitality facilities. The hospitality facilities are typically for current owners and friends. There might even be free food and beverages. They might also have raffles for clothing or accessories, and free posters, stickers, etc…

Once in a great while, but very seldom, there can be sales events with price discounts associated to the larger event. This does not happen often because the dealers are the ones that sell the bikes and the manufacturer would have to discount the price to the dealers as part of the promotion. It gets very messy because if one dealer gets a discount then other dealers want a discount too.

So sales promotions are usually managed on a national basis and not associated with special events.

I’m looking for a motorcycle helmet that is the old german style. I ordered one but it sits too high on my head and doesn’t look right. I would like one that is more low profile. Where can I find one?

My boyfriend just bought a motorcycle & I need to get a helmet but I’m not sure what kind I should get. Do you recommend a full face helmet or just a half or 3/4 face helmet? What do most people wear? He has a 2006 Honda VTX 1300. Its not a crotch rocket.

Get what feels comfortable, but remember the more protection you have the more likely you are to survive an accident.

I recently bought a leather jacket and it has a strong smell. I don’t want to wear it until I get rid of the smell. The coat isn’t 100% leather so I don’t want to use anything that would ruin the material.

i just got a motorcycle and haven’t worn a helmet for one before in my life i got one the other day and it doesn’t feel like it’s going to fall off but it doesn’t feel snug or tight. did i get the wrong size, i’m not sure if i should get a smaller size so that it’s tight on my head or is it ok?
i don’t race it’s just casual riding.

Usually its best to get a helmet the squeezes your cheeks a bit with a little wiggle room (but not much).

It sounds like you could need the next size down.

Generally these are the sizings for helmets:
XS - 52-54cm
S - 55-56cm
M - 57-58cm
L - 59-60cm
XL - 61-62cm
XXL - 63-64cm

If you measure around your head (across your forehead) and get eg 59.5 then you would be a Large.

im going to be riding my motorcycle to school soon and i dont want to carry my helmet all the time so i was wondering if it would. My thought is it would because the average lockers are 12inches wide and a full face helmet is about 9 1/2 inches wide.
im going to tomorrow and i have my helmet already sooo i guess ill find out.

I found a Kushitani suit on ebay for $150.00 and got it, rode around in it, and it fits me perfectly. It is an older style suit and doesn’t have the small micro perforations that is seen on almost all suits today. It gets a bit hot underneath and I was looking around for a leather punch but even the smallest size is a bit bigger than I anticipated. Can I use a pin or safety pin and safely perforate the leather?

A pin won’t leave a hole large enough for air to pass through. A punch would be ideal, if you could find the right size. Try a store that specializes in woodworking tools. Google "Lee Valley Tools" in Canada. As a last resort, you could use a drill, but you would have to be careful that it doesn’t snag the leather and rip it up. To be effective, you’re going to have to make an awful lot of holes!
Personally, I would keep that suit for cooler weather and buy a separate, perforated suit for hot days. Over the years, I have invested in lots of different pants and jackets to suit all riding conditions. (the more outfits you have, the longer they last!)

I bought a Viper RS-V99 motorcycle helmet about 6 months ago. I didn’t want bluetooth 1 so the shop sold it to me without it for £65. I now want to sell the helmet but I can’t find anywhere on the internet selling just the bluetooth 1 device for it. I want to find & check the price of the part to pass on the details to the buyer. The jacket has orange sleeves and the words Harley Davidson Motorsports on the front and the Harley bar and shield on back. I am looking for a XL size. I have tried multiple dealers and many search engines. If anyone knows where one is for sell, please point me in the right direction. thanks.
