i got a question: when ridin on the 8 track. in first gear.. my bike sometimes just turns off by itself when i close the throttle … why’s that??

dont worry… if u can get the bike into first gear ..the rest of the gears are very easy… if u hate switchng gear on and off u should ride it in the second gear/ third(if ur comfortable)

If you read just about any “motorcycle operating manual” it will tell you to always use the clutch for upshifting and downshifting.

from what i hear you dont have to clutch up but you should, it will wear your transition down faster. (not a rider “yet” but thats what i hear so take it or leave it)

My clutch cable …
My clutch cable broke on the way to work once. I had to drive it to work w/no clutch. I can tell ya, it’s not easy OR good for the bike :(

For a beginnger, the rear brake is as important as the clucth. It will prevent a runaway if the rider pops the clutch.
