You won’t see me on this video riding the motorcycle on the street, demonstrating how to ride it and how to change gear. But this video demonstrate very important basics of how to start, operate and park a motorcycle. I hope this video helps those people who have no idea/clue how to operate and to ride a motorcycle.

NOTE: Most Sportbikes have no fuel valve because they are fuel injected. Standard motorcycles have fuel valve. Be sure to put the switch to on all the time, whenever you are riding the motorcycle. You will find the fuel valve on the left side of the motorcycle. Below the seat.

lets say you parked your motorcycle for a month w/o even starting it. YOU have to put down the choke lever. IT helps warm the engine more faster. RPM must be set between 1,000 to 2,000 RPM. Do not exceed your RPM adjuster above 3,000.

NEUTRAL is a HALFWAY CLICK. You have to click up with force all the way for you to be sure that the gear went to 2nd. SHIFTING DOWN is the same thing. CLICK it all the way down with force to be sure that you are in 1st gear.

i always wanted to know when you get a bike in 1st gear and get it moving… when it’s time to shift to 2nd gear do i gotta click up twice since the next gear up is neutral ? and when im downshifting as im coming to a complete stop.. is it 6-5-4-3-2-NEUTRAL ? or does it go 6-5-4-3-2-1 then back up to neutral like in your video ?
