I am new to riding and am looking in to leather jackets River Road seems to be a good value.Does any one use them or know of there quality? Specifically what kind of leather do they use?
I have one of their jackets, bought it years ago and got good use out of it. Now I wear mostly textiles but I still wear the leather once in a while when I am in the mood. The jacket held up well but their dyeing process is not the best. The black color wears off in spots and has to be touched up with leather dye. I used to do that once a year.
All in all it's not a bad jacket for the price.

I just looked up River Road Leather and notice they offer a 2 year warranty. Not many Companies will do that. Prices seem fair too. Remember when buying anything You Get What You Pay For.

I don't know about their leather products.
1) what mm is the leather?
2) There is no armor in the jackets
3) What kind of leather is used.
There textile clothing
1) It has body armor
2) 1 year warranty
3) It is UGLY.
It is not the best motorcycle clothing available but it is cheap.
As far as I am concerned you can never pay too much for safety and as another member said, "You get what you pay for"
Personally I would not use for riding but I would wear when not riding.
Good Luck
