What is the motorcycle helmet chin guard thing for and how do I install it?

This looks like a motorcycle helmet chin guard or something like that. I got this when I bought my helmet. I don’t know what it’s used for, or how to install it. can someone help me and maybe link me to some picutres of how to install and use this. thanks

Looks like a breath deflector. Should slot in to the Chin-Bar behind Visor.

Yep, breath deflector. Very handy after bike night at the taco shop. Tabs slip into the area between the padding and helmet shell at the top of the chin bar. Try it you’ll like it!
